Title of her talk:
Towards high performance Li-Ion battery technology Combining the best out of two worlds: material and manufacturing research
After graduating with a degree of Chemist in 2007 from Izmir Institute of Technology (Turkey), she started to her master at Joseph Fourier Univesity, Grenoble (France) in the field of “Polymer materials for advanced technologies”.
Then she continued to her PhD at University of Grenoble and studied for her PhD thesis entitled “Novel macroporous PVdF based separators for supercapacitors” at LEPMI-Grenoble. Apart from polymer materials and their characterization, she also focused on electrochemical devices such as supercapacitors and lithium ion batteries.
She obtained her PhD degree in July 2011 and from September 2011 to June 2016 she worked at Fraunhofer ICT (Department of Applied Electrochemistry) as a researcher and project coordinator. Currently she is a project manager in the Center of Battery Cell Manufacturing at Fraunhofer IPA.
