Guillaume Lemahieu obtained an engineer master’s degree of the graduate chemistry school of Lille (France) in 2017. During the same year, he was graduated of two other masters from University of Lille (France) and from Regensburg University (Germany) into the field of colloidal and physical chemistry. In 2020, he obtained his PhD degree after three years of research in collaboration with Total Energies and the University of Lille (France) on the selection of surfactants for Enhanced Oil Recovery. He joined Formulaction as Application Researcher in 2021, before specializing as Lead Application Developer in 2023 with the mission to find other markets of interest, improve characterization instruments and support Formulaction’s customer and sales network in France, Europe and USA. Until now, he authored and co-authored 11 international scientific papers in the field of colloidal science. His research is mainly focused on physical and colloidal stability of formulations, on predictive algorithms and models for formulation screening, and on the behavior of surfactants at interfaces. Jeremy LEMAIRE has over twenty five years of working experience in the fields of Project management, control systems and dynamic simulators for industry. He started his professional career in 1998 as a software engineer for control systems dedicated to navy military projects. Then he joined Atos Worldgrid in 2000. After several years of project management for control systems of power plants and water treatment plants, he joined RSI in 2012. RSI merged with CORYS in 2017. For the last ten years Jeremy has been managing large Operator Training Simulator (OTS) projects for process industries such as refining, chemicals and oil & gas processing. One of his most recent assignment is in the role of Project Director for the development of dynamic simulators for battery value chain. Dr. Y. Shirley Meng is a Professor at the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering at the University of Chicago. She serves as the Chief Scientist of the Argonne Collaborative Center for Energy Storage Science (ACCESS) Argonne National Laboratory. Dr. Meng is the principal investigator of the research group - Laboratory for Energy Storage and Conversion (LESC), that was established at University of California San Diego since 2009. She held the Zable Chair Professor in Energy Technologies at University of California San Diego (UCSD) from 2017-2022. Dr. Meng received several prestigious awards, including ACS Research Excellence in Electrochemistry (2024), ECS Battery Division Research Award (2023), the C3E technology and innovation award (2022), the Faraday Medal of Royal Chemistry Society (2020), International Battery Association IBA Research Award (2019), Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists Finalist (2018), C.W. Tobias Young Investigator Award of the Electrochemical Society (2016) and NSF CAREER Award (2011). Dr. Meng is elected Fellow of Electrochemical Society (FECS), Fellow of Materials Research Society (FMRS) and Fellow of American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). She is the author and co-author of more than 300 peer-reviewed journal articles, two book chapters and eight issued patents. Dr. Anurag Mohanty is currently working as Technical Business Manager at EasylZinc, a French SME specializing in production of high-value active materials and additives for zinc electrodes and systems, designed for rechargeable batteries. He has been with the EasylZinc team since 2022 and working at the overlap of electrode material development and preliminary electrochemical validation for different Zinc battery chemistries. He works on market study of different possible additives and their performance evaluation with Calcium Zincate, the flagship product of EasylZinc. With the grant of the EIC Accelerator Project-SUPERZINC in December 2022, Anurag has been instrumental in planning and upscaling of battery testing capabilities for Nickel-Zinc technology. Besides, he also continues to conduct research on suitability and market adaptability of Calcium Zincate in Zinc-Air and Zinc -MnO2 technologies. Anurag has obtained his PhD in materials chemistry from ICPEES-University of Strasbourg in 2020, as part of an industrial project with Solvay for developing cheaper synthesis process of carbon nanomaterials for energy storage and conversion applications. Following that, he worked as a process engineer for upscaling of graphene suspension production at a startup, Grenoble Green Graphenofluids. Before joining EasylZinc, he worked on another academia-industry joint project with BeFC and Nawa Technologies for development and elaboration of carbon electrodes used in enzymatic fuel cell applications.
