
Terms and Conditions of Sale – Cancellation policy
Full refund will only occur in the following situations:
- Full cancellation of Batteries Event 2026
- Official Travel Bans by the French government or your country’s government.
Except in those cases, the full amount is due.
Cancellation policy for exhibitors, sponsors & partners
If the stand is not entirely paid for prior to the beginning of the conference, the Organizing Committee will not be liable to refund the amounts already paid. In case of cancellation by an exhibitor prior to 30th June 2026, the organizer will retain 50% of the invoice total amount as compensation.
For any cancellation request occurring from 1st July 2026 onwards, the entire amount of the invoice is be due and will be retained as a compensation for contract breach. If the entire reservation fees haven’t been paid at least 30 days prior to the event’s date, the exhibitor will not have the possibility to choose its stand’s location. If the total reservation fees haven’t been paid at least 15 days prior to the event, AVICENNE ENERGY reserves its right to refuse the exhibitor’s access to the event.
Cancellation policy for conference attendees
(including Conference attendees and speakers, Exhibition visitors):

1. Should a participant be unable to attend, request to transfer the registration onto someone from the same organization can be made (subject to the organizer’s approval).
2. Where the participant is unable to attend or to transfer his/her place to another person, then the following refund arrangements apply:
- Registrations cancelled before 30th July 2026: 75% refund of registration fees.
- Registrations cancelled between 1st August 2026 and 15th September 2026: 50% refund of the registration fees.
- Registrations cancelled after 15th September 2026: not eligible for refund.
Eligible refund will be paid after the conference.
3. Participants who cancel due to a failed visa application will receive a refund of their registration fees minus a €100 administration charge per registered participant. For refunds to be eligible, a written notification must be received by contact@batteriesevent.com latest 15 (fifteen) working days* before the conference starts. Cancellations received past this delay will not be eligible for refund.
* working days are Monday to Friday exclusively.
Cancellation of the event
In “force majeure” case, the conference and exhibition dates may be changed or cancelled. In this case the available amounts after payment of the expenses incurred will be shared between the exhibitors on a pro rata basis with no possibility of recourse against the organizer.
Refunds will be made in the following ways:
- For payments received by credit or debit cards, the same credit/debit card will be refunded (within 2 months of the payment only).
- For all other payments, a bank transfer will be made to the payee named on the account.
Please note: for payments received from outside France by bank transfer, the refund will be made by bank transfer – all bank charges payable by the recipient.
