BODOIN Emilie
Emilie Bodoin is the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Pure Lithium, a vertically integrated battery technology company she founded in 2020 focused on the development of lithium metal and next-generation battery technologies.
Ms. Bodoin has more than 14 years of experience in lithium metal anode and advanced battery development. She is an inventor with 16 granted patents and numerous patent applications, the majority of which are included within the Company’s intellectual property portfolio of more than 150 patents and patent applications. Notably, Ms. Bodoin is also a co-inventor on a granted patent with Nobel Laureate Professor Sir M. Stanley Whittingham, who was awarded the 2019 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his contributions to the development of the lithium-ion battery.
Prior to founding Pure Lithium, Ms. Bodoin held finance and technology leadership positions in New York City, including serving as Chief Technology Officer of G.C. Andersen Partners, a boutique investment bank. From 2015 to 2018, Ms. Bodoin worked with Argonne National Laboratory as a Principal Investigator on a lithium metal production project. She also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).
Ms. Bodoin is a frequent speaker at global industry and investor conferences relating to lithium production, critical minerals, battery technologies and energy storage.
