Dr. Robson Monteiro is currently a Global Market Development Manager Senior for CBMM North America Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of CBMM Niobium, the world’s largest producer of niobium products. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering in 1997 from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and carried out Post-Doctoral Studies in USA (1998-2000) at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts. Dr. Monteiro is Senior Member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), The Electrochemical Society (ECS) and American Chemical Society (ACS). He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed articles, holds several patents and is a public speaker at scientific conferences besides teaching courses in academic institutions worldwide. His professional experience of more than 20 years spans from different areas in materials science such as industrial catalysts, nanoparticles, energy storage and conversion materials.
