JANG Hyungsik

Dr. Hyungsik Jang received his Ph.D. from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Republic of Korea, where his research focused on carbon nanotube-induced phase behavior in block copolymer systems and its characterization. He began his career at LG Chem in 2013 as a member of the Carbon Nanotube (CNT) R&D team, leading and contributing to a wide range of CNT-related technologies, including catalyst development, CNT synthesis, and the exploration of advanced CNT applications across various industries.

After a decade of research and business experience in South Korea, Dr. Jang relocated to LG Chem Europe GmbH, where he currently serves within the Customer Solution organization (Technical Center). In his current role, he provides technical support and business promotion activities for rubber applications, high K-value PVC (HRTP), and advanced materials for the battery industry, including carbon nanotubes (CNT), anode binders, and aerogels. Leveraging his extensive expertise in materials science and customer engagement, he works closely with customers to accelerate innovation and commercialization across diverse markets.”
