WILLIAMS Bill

Bill Williams is Commercial Sales Director at Proterra, Inc. For the past 5 years he has been a leader in the Electric Vehicle Charging Industry. Bill is connected to many of the Clean Cities Coalitions, as well as the Smart Cities Challenge, and the recent VW Settlement proposals. He is Co-Chairperson of the San Joaquin Valley Electric Vehicle Partnership, as well as a board member of Project Clean Air. He has been helping to propel the electric transportation movement in the United States since 1995. For the past twenty years he has held executive positions such as Vice President of Electric Vehicles International, and Vice President of Sales in North America for ZENN Motor Company, Toronto Canada, and Vice President of a start up with Lee Iacocca.

Bill recently participated on advisory panels and spoke on Workplace Charging at the Department of Transportation, Columbus Smart City press conference, Green Transportation Conference, in Portland, and presented at the EPRI Meetings in Tempe, Az. and Birmingham Al. He has also presented to the Pentagon, US Department of Energy on several occasions. Bill has been active with EDTA, NAFA, GSA, CalStart, EPRI, Fed Fleet & Clean Cities Coalitions throughout the US for many years. Bill has been an on going spokesperson for the EV Industry and EV Adoption, for many years. His lmost recent customer includes Elon Musk for SpaceX employee charging stations.
