Martin PETIT obtained his PhD in chemical engineering of INPL in 2011. He joined IFPEN battery modelling team as an electrochemical engineer in 2012 and has contributed to the development of electrical storage systems models for system simulation in automotive applications. Damien Despinoy is the co-founder and CEO of Volexion. A seasoned Chemical Engineer with an INSEAD MBA, Damien has 20+ years of experience in scaling-up innovations in Energy and Materials. Aleksandra holds a Master’s in Analytical Chemistry and is currently completing her PhD. At ElevenEs, she leads a team that ensures the quality and performance of battery materials through cutting-edge R&D and oversees the technical aspects of the supply chain. With a focus on the development and optimization of lithium-ion batteries, Aleksandra’s work is essential for driving sustainable energy innovations and contributing to the growth of Europe’s battery production industry.

Martin Winter has been researching in the field of electrochemical energy storage and conversion for more than 30 years. His focus is on the development of new materials, components and cell designs for advanced energy storage systems. Martin currently holds a professorship for “Materials Science, Energy and Electrochemistry” at Institute of Physical Chemistry at University of Münster, Germany. Since April 2024, Prof. Dr. Susanne Lehner is a Full Professor at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg, focusing on electrochemical energy storage and energy management systems. Prior to this, from August 2020 to March 2024, she was Head of Technology Development at MAN Energy Solutions SE in Augsburg, Germany, overseeing R&D and technology readiness processes. From May 2017 to July 2020, she led the Hybrids & Batteries division at the same company, managing the development of hybrid and battery systems in the R&D department.
