Olivier Callebert began his career in 1992 with the IFPEN group as a process engineer. He joined Axens when it was founded in 2001 as Head of the Process Design Group. He supervises numerous licensing process projects in the field of aromatics and FCC. From 2010 to 2014, he was responsible for recruitment and skills development. He then joined the Process Licensing Business Unit until 2021. In 2022 and 2023, Olivier is examining technology acquisition and custom development projects. Matteo Tassinari completed his Master degree in Automation Engineering at the University of Bologna Alma Mater Studiorum in 2014. His first work experiences have been in the field of automotive in the Engine Control Unit in Ferrari on the V12 naturally aspirated engine until 2017. In The 2017 in Ferrari born the Hybrid department and he became part of the system simulation and battery development. During the growth of the department, that actually change name in ElectroMechanical and Electronics Component, became responsible for Battery Simulation and Battery Control strategies.

Alexis Pétain has been part of the CRITT M2A group since 2017. He began his career as an engineer responsible for the design and integration of new test equipment. Based on this experience, he developed and managed the Safety and Abuse battery testing — a strategic area in the context of the rapid growth of electric mobility. Recently appointed as a battery certification testing expert, Alexis Pétain now plays a key role in supporting manufacturers in bringing their products into compliance. Noura perused her Ph.D. in Electrochemistry at the LRCS laboratory, where she worked on the development electrolytes for stationary storage batteries. Aware of the environmental challenges brought forth by the energetic transition and its corresponding drive for technological advancement, she decided to move into environmental assessment, and joined WeLOOP in 2024 to work on projects in the energy and EEE fields.

Luz Deinny Cely Hostos has been Performance and Operations Director at Orano Batteries since September 2025. She joined the programme when it was created in 2021. Luz holds a master's degree in civil engineering and mining techniques from the Industrial University of Santander (Colombia) and is a mining engineer, having graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris in 2007. Marina is a Director, R&D and New Business Development at Rio Tinto Lithium. Marina’s expertise is in technology and markets and covers lithium battery supply chain from lithium extraction to future energy storage devices. Marina has inventions in lithium-ion battery materials widely used commercially, including the cathode technology that has become the industry standard and is used in a vast majority of consumer electronics devices. Marina is currently a member-at-large for the ECS Battery Division, member of the advisory boards for the Battery500 consortium. Marina has over 100 patents granted in US and worldwide.

John Wozniak is the Founder and President of Energy Storage and Power Consulting Inc.  He has been a no-nonsense leader in the Battery world for 30 years and continues to present insightful talks and chair sessions at key battery conferences internationally. John completed his BSEE at MIT and graduate degrees at the University of Florida. After an academic career he joined Energizer Power Systems and quickly rose within battery circles after joining Compaq (now Hewlett Packard) and pushing the industry to adopt better supply chain practices.
