Tobias Scholz joined the Automotive & Energy Solutions division at Keysight Technologies in Bochum, Germany as an R&D Engineer in 2024. As a member of the Innovation Center, he is focusing on the characterization of traction batteries at the end of their useful life in electric vehicles, which includes the development of a mobile testing solution in the public funded project Re-Use. Mathilda Ohrelius is a battery researcher specialized in lithium-ion battery degradation and electrochemical modeling for energy storage systems, with a PhD from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. She currently works at PowerUp as a battery expert, developing their advanced battery analytics solution to manage and extend batteries life.

Romain Nicolas is an automotive engineer with over 15 years of experience in the industry. He currently serves as Battery Industry Specialist for system simulation in Siemens Digital Industries Software, where he supports business growth, sales training, customers support and executes Go to market with workshops and seminars. Romain holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from IFP School. His expertise includes powertrain integration, thermal management, battery modeling and simulation and control systems.

Dr. Trung Hung Nguyen, President EIC Labs., has more than 30 years of R&D experience in rechargeable Li-ion batteries. Dr. Nguyen has overall education in Science (Ph.D in Chemistry from American University), Statistics (M.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute) and MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Quentin Mocaër (Business Development Manager) is in charge of Battery and Semiconductors segments. He graduated in Photonics from Paris XI University. Since 2011, he is active in the ultrafast laser industry, focusing on finding and developing new applications for various high-tech markets. Back to France after several years in Asia with a strong focus on micro-electronics and semiconductors, he is currently strongly involved in cooperations between research institutions and industrial end users aiming at the development of femtosecond laser-based battery manufacturing processes.

Dr. Robson Monteiro is currently a Global Market Development Manager Senior for CBMM North America Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of CBMM Niobium, the world’s largest producer of niobium products. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering in 1997 from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and carried out Post-Doctoral Studies in USA (1998-2000) at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts. Dr. Cyril Marino obtained a PhD on material science about the understanding of electrochemical phenomena for the conversion materials used as negative electrode for Li-ion batteries at Université Montpellier 2 (France) in 2012. He was pursuing in the field of research with one assistant professor position at Technische Universität München (Germany) and one scientist position at Paul Scherrer Institut to work on the understanding of high voltage cathode materials for Li-ion batteries and the development of Na-ion batteries. He joined SERMA TECHNOLOGIES in March 2019 and since 2024 he is managing the failure analysis division of batteries and energy system.

Martina Lindovska is an energy economist and has worked as a consultant for over 16 years across the energy and wider utilities sector, covering the UK as well as wider Europe and Australia. In the power sector, Martina advises energy companies, regulators, system operators, investors, transmission developers and other energy market participants on a range of commercial, market design and regulatory issues. Martina supports clients across storage, conventional generation and renewable generation in relation to wholesale markets, balancing mechanism (redispatch / constraint costs), and ancillary services forecasting, policy design and regulatory arrangements.
